Hello Amazing Dance Parent!, 

What are Student Costume Fittings? "Student Fittings" are a crucial part of preparing for the Recital. During this process, students will be individually fitted for the costumes they will wear during the recital. 

1. Fitting Dates: Fittings are scheduled to take place during the week of April 15-26, 2024, and they will occur during each student's regular dance class. This ensures that every student has the opportunity to be fitted at a convenient time.
   
   

2. Importance of Student Presence: It's highly important for your child to be present during the fitting. This is because the fitting process involves trying on the costume over their regular dance attire. It ensures that the costume is a good fit for them, and any necessary adjustments can be made while they are present.
   
   

3. Sizing and Notation: During the fitting, the teacher will work with you to determine the appropriate size for your child's costume. This size is crucial to ensure that the costume is comfortable and flattering. The teacher will carefully note down the size agreed upon during this process.
   
   

4. Costume Distribution: The costumes will be distributed to the parents or guardians approximately 1 or 2 weeks before the recital. 
   
   

5. Important Reminder: It is essential that parents and guardians come prepared on the day of the recital. Your child must have a change of clothes with them because, following their performance, they are required to return the costume before leaving the theater. This ensures that costumes are collected promptly and in good condition.
   
   

In summary, the student fittings are a vital step in ensuring that each student is comfortable and well-prepared for the Recital. The process includes determining the right costume size, which is critical for the child's comfort during the performance. • Every person attending our recital will require a ticket.
• Children 2 years old and under are free (child must sit on an adult's lap).
